My aluminium was returned from router
cutting & the Veecraft team have meticulously set them in place.

The reinforced bulkheads are held in place by
the very strong T bar extrusions and look how
strong my ring frames are.

If you look very carefully you will
see all the temporary supports.
They will insure that everything is kept
in place during the build.

This is going to be my bow profile.
Looking at this view you can see just how strong and yet light I am going to be.
This is my bow keel area getting its first skins. These chaps are carefully stitching me together insuring that I am watertight.

Hey, look at me now!
This is my transom and do I have great lines.

This is under my saloon deck.
I can see some good workmanship here

Veecraft's master welder getting my plates bedded into place before welding. And this is how he gets them to do what he wants them to do.

I am taking shape with my plates being
tacked into place. See my keel?
More rolled plates arrive. They will soon be
part of me and will then be an extreme yacht.

It's getting dark in here now that all
my plates welded into place.

It will be grand when they rool me over.
There is a man welding on the inside while our friend here is insuring that the plate is following the line.

Hey, look at me now!! I don't look so skinny anymore. I have really cool flowing lines.
I am getting to be quiet a dame.

I heard that remark. I don't look like a whale. Just you wait till I get into the water and get a little wind in my sails. I will be a regular swan.

They are getting my keel ready to fit the plates.
Have you noticed that I am fully shinned now.

Oh here comes my port side plate now.
The chaps have done a great job on my plates.

I have been rolled over and now you
can really see my sleek lines.

The chaps are hard at work on my
coach roof and deck.

Just look at all the space in the saloon.
We are looking aft.

The extrusions will make my
coach roof realy strong.

DSC07131 (Custom)  DSC07133 (Custom)
It might not look like there is a great deal of progress. But it is all happening below, inside and on top. All these extrusions need to marry perfectly or the couch roof will end up full of humps and bumps.

The skin is being fitted to my saloon.
Aluminium is however not keen to take all the curves and needs to be gently encouraged to the shape.

I sure am going to be a handsome sea nymph when these chaps have finished with me. When you see a yacht like me in the water you could never imagine what has gone into the process.

My coach roof is being welded into place.  It takes a great deal of preparation.

It might look like I am on a roll.
It's just the camera man.
The chaps have tacked me up and now they
have to complete all the welds.
DSC07228 (Custom)  DSC07320 (Custom)
I feel really grand now with all my seems all
welded up.
It means that I am one piece of aluminium.
I am a happy little yacht now. Good night.

Jack loves me internally.
He boarded me for the first time today.

I hope my owner will feel the passion
that Veecraft has put into building me.

This is what is behind my door in the above
picture. Loads of space up front.

My saloon looks like the inside of a space
shuttle. Loads of space in here too.
DSC07334 (Custom)  DSC07335 (Custom)
It's hard to believe that I was once
a few sheets of aluminium.
Amazing feat of engineering and design.

Just a little sample of my welds.
I am sure that many surgeons would be
proud of such a stitch up job.

A mock up dodger is being fabricated
to use a pattern.
An anchor roller has been fabricated
on the yacht.
