Their shallow draft light is 0.37m and with a maximum load of 5,800kg the draft is 0.6.m. Bow access is via a cable operated ramp for river bank loading. | .jpg) | Propulsion System
2 x Steyr Marine turbo-charged six cylinder 184Kw (250bhp) engines, spinning two Almarin 230 water-jets via two ZF45C gearboxes. This gives them a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.
Trials took place at sea and they handled these conditions well, considering that they where designed for riverine conditions.
